Strategic Counsel for Families,
Business Owners, and Their Legacy

Estate planning, business succession, and asset protection from a lawyer who has built and acquired companies.

Most clients who schedule a Strategic Planning Session are facing one of these situations:

Protecting a home or assets from long-term care costs
Creating or updating an estate plan
Planning the transition of a family business
Administering an estate after the loss of a loved one

Strategic Counsel Built on Experience

I’m Michael Tease, an attorney focused on estate planning, elder law, and business succession. Before returning to the practice of law, I spent many years in senior leadership roles in healthcare as a C-suite executive responsible for acquiring and integrating hundreds of small businesses across the country.

That experience shapes how I practice law today. I understand not only legal documents, but how families build wealth, how businesses operate, and how easily a lifetime of work can be disrupted without careful planning.

Today my practice is focused on helping families and business owners structure their affairs wisely, protect their assets, and preserve what they have built for the next generation.
